Not only does the Chamber represent the concerns of business, lobbying for good government and sound legislation, but it also acts as a source of information for members and the general public. The current membership of the Chamber is over 1,000 with active participation at local, provincial and federal levels.
The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) is affiliated with both the Ontario and Canadian Chambers of Commerce and through its network of 66,000 members in Ontario and 175,000 members in Canada, government officials at all levels are made aware of business concerns. Our network even extends into The Global Network of Chambers of Commerce.
Whether your business is large or small, as a member of the GPCC you become linked with representatives from all sectors of business including retail, service, manufacturing, agricultural, tourism, financial and professional. Membership is open to all persons who share a common interest in our community, business and free enterprise system.
