Canada’s Longest FREE Summer Concert Series is back! Peterborough Musicfest is gearing up for our 29th season of FREE concerts every Wednesday and Saturday from June 27th to August 22nd!
Peterborough Musicfest is a Provincially recognized premier music experience, being named one of the FEO’s top 100 festivals and events in Ontario for 2015. It provides a diverse, affordable live music experience to enrich the cultural and economic prosperity of our community. Musicfest brings local, national and international artists to The Kawartha region to perform on the Fred Anderson stage at the scenic Del Crary Park, in the heart of downtown, an iconic outdoor music venue in Peterborough. The festival gives residents and tourists an opportunity to experience premier live music free of charge.
On the shores of picturesque Little Lake, Peterborough Musicfest, by showcasing prominent live acts, generates a sizable economic impact to local business and tourist attractions. In 2010, an Economic Impact Study revealed that Musicfest provides a $4.8 million boost to the region through hotels, restaurants and shopping, with 125,000 attendees each year.
Peterborough Musicfest is excited to announce our 2015 line-up, with popular bands such as Randy Bachman, Chad Brownlee, The Northern Pikes, Francesco Yates, Tyler Shaw, and Doc Walker, as well as great local talent with Melissa Payne and Rick Fines taking the stage.
