Peterborough County Declares State of Emergency
Peterborough County is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and has been working closely with Peterborough Public Health and local, provincial and federal partners to manage and respond effectively during this time of crisis. We are working together to protect our residents and our staff, and to help slow the spread of this virus.
Please be advised that effective immediately all Peterborough County offices are closed to the public, as recommended by public health officials.
Municipal business will continue as staff will remain available between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and can be reached by phone at 705-743-0380 or email. If you do not know the email of the individual you are trying to reach, please contact info@ptbocounty.ca. No in-person meetings will be permitted during this time. Please understand that it may take longer to reply to messages as staff handle increased phone and email inquiries.
Essential services will continue to operate as usual.
Updates regarding office closures will be provided on our website at www.ptbocounty.ca and through our various social media channels (@PtboCounty)
We encourage everyone to follow the guidelines as released by Peterborough Public Health and the Government of Canada to assist each other with slowing the spread of COVID-19.
